Whilst musculoskeletal screening remains the core component of the FP-ES business model, there is an increasing requirement for both Audiometry and Drug screening by certain employers. Engagement of these services is purely at the request of an individual organisation or employer.

FP-ES have a network of hearing clinics, with over 40 permanent sites and 100 visiting sites nationally. All sites are staffed by accredited Audiologists and Audiometrists utilising state of the art equipment and technology. All hearing assessments are conducted in accordance with Australian Standard 1269.

FP-ES pre-employment drug screening, which is undertaken via urine specimen, is fast, accurate and meets all the requirements of Australian Standards 4308 cut off levels. This test identifies Amphetamines, Methamphetamines, Opiates, Benzodiazepines, Cocaine and Marijuana.

Our experience indicates that positive test results for illicit drugs and prescription medication run at approximately 10% of tests undertaken. Whilst most companies initiate drug screening at point of recruitment, others utilise it as a broader risk management strategy to include random and post incident testing.
